The Roots of Muna Wari
Muna Wari is an education-focused initiative created to support children and young people from underprivileged backgrounds.
Founded by Dieynaba Ouattara and her husband, Muna Wari was born from a simple belief: every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and build a future with dignity. Too often, talented and motivated students are held back not because they lack ambition, but because they lack access to school fees, supplies, guidance, mentorship, or the right support at the right time.
Muna Wari aims to bridge that gap.
Our work focuses on helping students at different stages of their educational journey, from primary school to high school and university. Through school support, learning materials, mentorship, orientation, and partnerships, we hope to open doors for young people who have the potential to go far but need someone to walk beside them.
Muna Wari is still growing, but its purpose is clear: to make education more accessible, to protect the dignity of every child we support, and to create opportunities that can change lives.
